Description

Bring the prehistoric world to life with this 3D printable Velociraptor model, fully designed and printed by me. This detailed dinosaur model is perfect for display, educational projects, or as part of a themed terrarium or diorama.

The model has been carefully crafted for 0.4mm nozzles (but you can print with 0.2) printing and includes fine textures.

Whether you're a dinosaur enthusiast, a 3D printing hobbyist, or looking to decorate a unique space, this Velociraptor makes a great addition to your collection.

 

I Recommend glue the model

 

 

Recommended settings (optional):

  • Layer height: 0.12 mm
  • Infill: 15–20%
  • Supports needed
  • PLA+ or PETG recommended

I recoomend take care when you remove the supports, specially in the hands because is a thin zone, if you could use pliers it will work perfectly

This is one of the most beautiful prints I have done. The details are so good. The only thing is to be careful while removing the support around the limbs. I actually broke a finger, but I glued it together with superglue. additionally I also printed egg nest to go along.

Printed using light grey Bambu Lab PETG, using a 0.4mm print nozzle, outside walls printed at 100mm/s. Overall, very impressed. I only had one tip of a claw on the right hand break away, but that was my own mistake when removing the supports. For improved detail, especially of the teeth and skin, I feel that PLA or PLA+ would have been a better option, as well as using a 0.2mm print nozzle. Using a 0.2mm print nozzle would however increase the printing time to almost a full day. Thank you for creating an excellent model. 👏🏼
