Description

EDIT 26/10/2023: After some feedback, I scaled down the part to 99% and reeinforced the clips by 1.5mm to make the part fit better and have the clips stronger!

There's a big gap between the poop chute and the interior volume wall. If you look from the side, you can directly see the electronics, meaning that hot air from the printing volume will go to the electronics and also cooling air from the electronics might easily get to the printing volume. This amazing design will close that air to try and remain both zones more separated!

Print this in ABS, ASA or above preferably. PETG might be sufficient, but could warp overtime.

For install, slide the seal from top→down instead of snapping in place to avoid breaking the clips!

You either have the bed dirty or didn't pre-heated the chamber. This is a large area piece and not tall, so even ABS shouldn't show almost any warping

bed was clean, even wiped it down with iso before print and yes I did preheat the chamber for 30min . I will try again

profile worked great! printed in eSun clear Petg. it was a little tough snapping it in place but it went in. printing another one right now for my p1s.

To put it in place, instead of snap in place, put it from the top and slide down. much easier and will fit right in :) Thanks for the feedback and happy to see you're printing more! Take a loot at the other seals available for the printer in my profile!

This may deflect stray bits of filament and keep clutter from going through that particular opening, but it can't do very much to change airflow or to separate hot and cold areas because nothing is separating the area between the outer case and the leadscrew pocket.

I know, this is something that I've been wanting to fix but there's no easy way around it. I still have plan to isolate that part also so electronics could be completely isolated, not easy though

Printed well but was way too tight. I snapped off one of the clips by trying to fit it into the hole. It fits now but would definitely scale it down next time.
