H2D Detachable Exhaust for Narrow Spaces
Print Profile(5)

Bill of Materials
Description
With my new laser, I had less than 4" of space behind my printer. I also planned to have my exhaust on the left side of my printer. So I needed a way to vent to the left. Too many components were in the way, so I decided to vent up! Avoiding components, and with a desire to have a detachable exhaust, I designed this upper exhaust that's meant to fit in as tight as a 2.5" space!
Key Features
- Upper Exhaust
- 63 mm (2.5") clearance
- Doesn't interfere with belt tensioner or TPU inlet
- Detachable adapter. Vent goes into the adapter for efficient airflow!
- Top panel access
- Bevelled exhaust connector for easy duct connections
- Uses the stock screws
- Doesn't interfere with rear exhaust flaps
The uploaded adapter is a 100 mm adapter with a 96 mm bevelled edge. This is perfect for 102 mm diameter ducting.
For the non-laser variants, you will need M3x20 self tapping screws (The plastic holes are not threaded). The length and size is very important! If you go above a 20 mm length, you risk damaging the holes! I added the screws from Maker's Supply in the Bill of Materials below.
Since everyone's use case may be slightly different, if adjustments are needed, leave a comment! I will modify and update as soon as possible if the adjustment is doable!
