Description

Here's a new suspended ship for my Star Wars Collection.. this time its from the Mandalorian series..

The razorcrest was introduced in the series and got blown up in the 2nd season..
The suspended model comes in 2 parts.. front and back..

the back part of the ship has a LED channel that you can insert LED strips..

If you're interested in getting the LED strips.. here's my affiliate link to buy it..

TIP: a tip from muddie is to use the LED strips and folded it backwords and you'll have both side emiting lights.. so if you're using clear filament for the frame.. its gonna look epics with the ice frame glowing on all sides..

The razorcrest ship was modelled by Fine_Engineer at thingerverse.. I used tinkercad to modify it to be printed for suspended model.. the frame of the razorcrest was made to look like the icy planet Maldo Kreis from the Mandalorian TV series..

When paired with the LED strips.. it look damn good too.. i regret not using RGB lights cause i thought it wouldnt look like ice..

When printing suspended models.. one important thing to remember is to set the wall generator to arachne from classic.. this will make the slicer print the strings.. and NO SUPPORTS..

You definitely have to print the surround in clear filament to give it that "icy" look!

Another awesome model. For the LED strip I used a 1 meter strip and folded it back on itself so the lights were facing both in and out for maximum illumination. Looks great.
