Description

These are magnetic helping hands that I made to use at work for under dash or in car wire repair. I printed these with Bambu petg-cf. Each base has 12  10mm magnets embedded. I set a pause a layer 53 to insert them. the magnet fit in my case is tight enough that they press fit and stay without glue. The aligator clips are glued into the last link. The first test pieces I print in pla and the worked just as good but didn't hold as much weight. Im sure its due to the pla having a smoother finish than the petg-cf. I suspect that after a few uses the petg-cf will loosen up. time will tell.

supplies: 12 10mm x 3mm neodymium magnets

                 2 alligator clips.
