Description

I wanted to recreate one of the toys from my childhood but designed it as a print-in-place model.

I made two 3d printable versions where one is completely print-in-place and a version where you can snap-fit some colors onto it.

-no support structures
-0,15mm layer height

This was 3d printed on a Prusa Mini+ using Fillamentum PLA

I recommend printing the “snakeinplace_testpart.stl” first to make sure your printer can handle the clearance between the articulated parts. PLA wears down over time due to friction so the joints might become loose

Printed perfectly on the first try on my p1p. Could never get my ender to print in place anything this well without lots of failures.
