Description
I required a holder to secure children's bicycles inside a transporter's tracks.
Finding nothing suitable, I quickly designed something myself.
The underside is shaped to lie flush against the track.
The wheel diameter is designed for 21", but also works for larger or smaller sizes.
The tire width is designed for approximately 48mm, ensuring a snug fit.
The holder has a hole for threading a narrow strap to secure the wheel.
Unfortunately, I could not use it as intended, as I measured everything but overlooked the bicycle's overall dimensions. Therefore, I ultimately had to mount the holder rotated 90°, which also worked well.
The screw with the T-bolt for the track is available from the friendly mail-order company with A.
The holder has already been tested on a 300km Autobahn journey and functioned admirably; however, this part does not replace proper load securing.
Therefore, use at your own risk.
