Concorde

Description
The Concorde was a pioneering supersonic passenger airliner. Jointly developed by Britain and France, it first flew in 1969 and entered commercial service in 1976.
Its unique fuselage design, featuring an S-shaped delta wing and slender fuselage, effectively reduced air resistance. The powerful power system, four Olympus 593 turbojet engines, allowed it to reach a maximum cruising speed of Mach 2.04. Its flight speed was incredibly fast; for instance, the journey from New York to London took only about 2 hours and 52 minutes, significantly shortening long-haul travel times.
However, the Concorde also had many problems. High operating costs, coupled with high noise levels, severe sonic boom disturbances, and the 2000 crash, led to its insufficient market competitiveness. Ultimately, in 2003, the Concorde was officially retired, ending its glorious yet short commercial flight career and becoming an iconic symbol in aviation history.
