Description

“If you’re going to run calibration tests with a Benchy, why not make it float?

We kept Benchy’s iconic silhouette intact and simply tweaked the print settings and model structure to get it to stay afloat—no visible alterations required!

  • Balanced Infill for Stability
By using very low infill on the top half and high infill on the bottom half, we achieve perfect balance and stability.

Lower infill also raises the bar on your calibration test.

Feel free to adjust these values if it doesn’t float perfectly in your setup.
  • Hollowed Bottom for Extra Lift
We hollowed out the hull’s belly to fine‑tune its buoyancy, so it floats rock‑steady.

With minimal contact on the bottom, your printer’s precision really gets challenged!
