This print will require 2x M3x12mm or 2x M3x16mm screws.
A1 buildplate alignment issues come from the moving bed and the strong magnets. The tabs at the back work perfectly fine to align the buildplate, the problem is that the magnets usually grab the plate before it can be pushed firmly against the tabs…then when you continue to push the plate backwards the bed moves rather than the plate. You can test this by holding the bed at the back to keep it from moving forward when installing a buildplate, alignment should be pretty straightforward.
This handle will help align you hold the bed from moving when placing the buildplate. I think it works pretty great and the added weight moving on the bed is minimal.
Printing:
I would recommend to use a material with moderate temperature resistance such as PETG.
Print either version depending on which screws you have. Not that the counterbores are not big enough to use with hex cap screws, but should work with any rounded head or socket head screw.
