Description

Welcome sign made from rope. Because of this being lightweight, I did not add mounting holes to the back. I would suggest double sided tape for wall mounting. I prefer the look of the sign sitting on a desk or table, leaning against a wall. I display mine on a ledge in my office cubicle for visitors to see!

All of my rope models can be found in collections on MakerWorld and Printables.

Print Settings

Scale the model as needed. I prefer a 0.16mm layer height if you are printing at normal scale.

wait wait can you make this parametric? for use with SCAD so we can type in our own words? That would be awesome

Someone else with more skills in SCAD may be able to figure it out. Using Fusion, I create one segment at a time - manually. The text is manually created with splines. If I remember correctly, this model is 13 individual sweeps across those splines. Each involves 2 sketches on different planes. It's a very long, involved process.
