Description

Please print this out of ABS or greater with high strength due to the print direction requirement, I became aware of a recent concern with the top glass being warm while heated, and thus might warp the part. Please let me know if this happens and I might have to beef it up, but my ABS spool holder still has zero deforming. Optionally use the AMS Anchor piece to ensure the spool holder doesn't fall off the top of the printer like mine was doing without it. Kindly be aware there is currently 2 sizes for the AMS anchor due to varying housing designs.

I made this because my H2D is in a corner and I cannot reach the External Spool holder on the side of the machine. This model uses the original PTFE guide from that spool holder, and features a TPU bottom for increased friction and anti-sliding. It has a dovetail-attached anchor which slots into the middle left side, of the AMS 2 Pro (and ams? idk tho) and keeps it securely in place. This feature was added because mine fell off the top of the printer on version 1.

To use this, simply print it and then using the bigger allen key, remove the PTFE tube connector from the original spool holder and screw it on to this.
