Description

  • 模型多色答打印基本都是同层多色,浪费耗材量极少,并且不需要支撑。需要一个6002轴承(图中蓝色部分),组装十分简单。
  • The model can be printed without any supports. It's multi-color but all on the same layer, so it won't waste materials. I printed it using PETG, so printing with PLA shouldn't be an issue at all. The model requires a 6002 bearing, which is the blue part shown in the picture.

I liked the way this wheel is designed in a modular way. I made some tweaks to it: - making the numbers engraved instead of embossed (then printed face down with red/green/black for the first 3-4 layers, then changed to white to have white numbering) - lowering the sides of the base (helped with being able to get my hand into the wheel and spin the ball around the rim instead of dropping straight into the wheel) - putting a hole in the bottom of the base where the bearing would insert into (to get the bearing out if needed, and for being able to drop some machine oil in it to keep it spinning well. One thing I noticed about the model was that the base and wheel weren't perfect circles, dimensionally. I tried resizing in the slicer to ensure it's the same length in x and y, and also adjusted the space where the wheel would spin so it wouldn't rub the walls. Since making those changes, the wheel's been great. Printed 2 of them for use in some office casino events.

how did you print the number pieces in such a way that you were able to color the numbers white while leaving the base red/blue? the instructions mentioned color changes can be done at the layer, but the numbers don't start on their own layer.

Turn the digital card over and change colour with layer height
