I sought a simple and affordable solution to shield my A1 enclosure from cold air and filter out the toxic fumes potentially generated when printing ASA or ABS. Mounting it to the side of the enclosure was a prerequisite, as I had no space left inside.

I deliberately opted for a design using inexpensive materials and generating minimal airflow. Exhaust air, however, should still be expelled externally.

I have been using this filter daily for approximately seven months and have already replaced the activated carbon once.

The system functions precisely as expected in my case. Odors and the headaches I experienced even while printing with PLA+ have vanished.

I wish to share my print, hoping others might find this filter useful.

The only parts required are a few screws and nuts, and a 120mm fan (in my case, USB-powered).

The link to my Amazon purchase is below.

The three filter chambers can be filled according to your preferences; in my case, I use two filter mats and one activated carbon pellets to combat odors and fumes.

When mounting the fan, the rubber feet must be removed using screws; otherwise, the fan will not fit into the housing!

Should anything not fit correctly, contact me, and I will adjust the files.
