Overland/Camping Shower Adapter – OVDSO
From C59 Overland – Purpose-built gear for wherever the road ends, or gardening for this one!
Dial in your rig for the trail. This adapter connects ¼" silicone tubing to standard garden hose threads—perfect for a backcountry shower setup. Pair it with the Cbasics Pinch Valve for easy flow control, and SH258 Shower Head for camping!
The season’s warming up—more C59 Overland gear is on the way.
🌱 A Note on Respect:
Don’t shower near water sources. Find sand or gravel (nature’s filter) and always use biodegradable soap. We’re already printing plastic—let’s give something back too.

These fittings are designed for low-pressure and gravity-fed systems. I haven’t tested them on a full residential pressure setup, so use them at your own risk! They work great for gardens, gravity showers, and other low-pressure applications. Originally designed for my overland setup, these could be useful to other members for camping, home, garden, shop, and more!
🛠️ After-Print Notes
V1.0
Remove the supports and clean the gasket seat. A flathead screwdriver works great for this task.
V1.1
This version requires no supports. Depending on your printer's tolerance, the barb adapter might not fit through initially. If that happens, place it flat against the thread and screw it in gently until it passes through and becomes loose within the thread ring. Once done, install the gasket. The adapter is now ready for use. Choose your preferred size—or print them all!
🔧 How to Use
- Remove valve cap (if present).
- Slide tubing onto adapter.
- Insert gasket into the thread socket.
- Thread adapter onto valve.
- No flow control? Grab the Cbasics Pinch Valve.
- No shower head? Stay tuned—I'm working on something slick.
