Description

Made my own version of this model.

I wanted to made print in magnets so you dont have to click the tools in.

I used Magnets ⌀5x1mm. I used this Magnets from amazon.
I made a second version on request for ⌀6x3mm magnets.

The design is made for this deburring tool

What you need:

6x M3x20mm Screw
30x Magnets ⌀5x1mm
or 30x Magnets ⌀6x3mm

For Printing:

You have to stop the print of the lid to put the magnets in.

loved it, transformed a couple of dollares tool into a premium one. Had to improvised the magnets because mine were too slim. Thank you

prints nice. Used the 6x3 mm magnets. Stopped print at layer 21 on the lid to insert magnets. Worked perfectly

I couldn't find your video that shows how to put the magnets in. Can you please point me in the right direction.

hi! sorry the original Video was for another slicer. in bambu studio you click on slice. then scroll on the right to the layer you qant to stop. press right click und add pause

Ok, thank you. Can you tell me which layer I need to pause the printer at? I've never embedded anything in my prints before so I'm not sure at what layer I need to pause to do it.

I really like this storage box for my deburring tool but wish there was a magnet option to hold my metal tool in place. It went together really nice and the screws fit nice and tight.
