🐣 Ducky – High-Detail 3D Model

I’m proud to share my very first published 3D model – meet Ducky!
This cheerful and expressive character was lovingly crafted with high attention to detail, making it a joy to print and display. The model includes intricate feather textures, a wide, welcoming smile, and a lively pose that captures Ducky’s playful spirit.

🛠 Print Settings & Recommendations

This is a moderately complex print, particularly when it comes to balancing support placement and surface finish. Here are my tested suggestions:

• Best Quality (for showcase prints)
  ➤ Layer Height: 0.12mm
  ➤ Result: Maximum detail and sharpness
  ➤ Tradeoff: Increased filament usage and longer print time
• Balanced (great quality, less waste)
  ➤ Layer Height: 0.16mm
  ➤ Result: Excellent surface finish with more efficient material use
  ➤ Recommended for most users
• Fast Print (acceptable quality)
  ➤ Layer Height: 0.20mm
  ➤ Result: Reduced print time and material, some loss in fine detail
  ➤ Great for casual display or test runs

🎯 Supports

I’ve manually minimized support structures to focus only on critical overhangs – particularly in the tail and mouth areas.
This is intentional: automatic support generation often causes excessive cleanup and risks damaging delicate features.
That said, feel free to adjust based on your printer’s capabilities or slicer preferences.
