Greetings everyone, I would like to share my router bit ring system.

The set includes six rings with various hole sizes (15mm, 25mm, 35mm, 45mm, 55mm, and 68mm) to accommodate most router bits.


I have designed two templates to simplify installation considerably.


Position the hole template and use a 68mm hole saw for the through-hole. (I used a Parkside kit) or

(link). If you prefer not to purchase a hole saw, you can position the hole template and mill with a bearing-guided bit to create a through-hole.

 

Position the milling template and use a bearing-guided bit to replicate the pattern. The rings are 6mm thick, so the router bit should be set to this depth.

 

For a micrometric adjustment of the rings’ height (as I have done), the hole template features four additional holes for inserting these inserts (link) onto which these set screws (link) are screwed.

 

If using the micrometric adjustment system, I recommend setting the milling depth to 7mm and then adjusting the set screws from beneath the surface. Once the result is perfect, apply a few drops of threadlocker to the set screws.
