I needed to create this project for the eSun ePla spools (the only ones I have found so far of this size) made of cardboard which have a central core smaller than 80 mm and prevented me from using the bambulab spool supplied with ams. created with a thread so that depending on the thickness there is certainty of tightening the sides well and preventing the filament from getting stuck while it is taken by the AMS motor.
the weight is exactly 200 gr. these allow you to print up to 5 spools with one kg of filament for those who need to print in series.
the side weave allows you to fit the filament into any hole without having to require a filament clip.
as soon as possible, and if I receive good feedback with this model, I will create projects with central cores of different sizes to be able to adapt them to the largest possible number of other brands that produce filaments with cardboard spools.

step 1

remove one side of the cardboard, taking care not to let all the filament come out of its place.

step 2

insert the first half of the spool and block the filament inside a hole,and carefully turn it over to the other side,and repeat the operation and screw until it stops with the filament without exaggerating to avoid breaking the thread, but making sure that the filament cannot move on the lateral sides

P.S. it does not necessarily have to be screwed in all the way. just make sure the filament is securely inside

ironically, I printed a spool again for the other esun ePLA lite spool.  and only after removing the first cardboard side I was able to see that the internal diameter of this other one was 80 mm.
MAKE SURE BEFORE PRINTING THE SPOOL THAT YOU REALLY NEED A 75MM CENTRAL DISC
DO NOT COME OUT WITH LOW RATINGS BECAUSE IT IS TOO SMALL.

cut a piece of the internal filament to prevent it from getting stuck when the spool runs out. which often happens even with reels purchased from any brandu
