Great File! This was my first attempt at a hueforge type print. Some things that I think would help for others who are like me and are trying this out for the first time: I was all out of black and white filiment so I used some other colors and it doesn't have the same effect. I realize this is due to the different colors having different transparancies so I recommend sticking to the colors the designer used or at least similar colors. Secondly I have a a1 mini so the uploaded print profile doesn't work for my printer. When resizing, painting, and slicing the model, it looks like I was one layer off on my color switches so if using the paint tool in bambu double check the color change hight and perhaps compare to one extra or one less layer to see what looks best. But again this was all my learnings from doing this for the first time and the model is actually really good. I was happy with the print overall. Thanks!

hi thanks for the feedback, and yes resizing the model messes with the layers so if you need to change the size. just look at the thickness on z then change your selected size you want then untick uniform scale and change that thickness back to the size it originally was. then all the layers will be exact the same

Nice "Forge", but.... I'm using first layer of .16 and all else at .08 Studio is showing...... Swap Instructions: Start with Black At layer #6 (0.8mm) swap to Green <---- Layer #6 is .56mm At layer #13 (1.2mm) swap to White for the rest. <---- Layer #13 is 1.12mm Also, the sliced preview is showing layer #1 (.16mm) as white, then a switch to black at layer #2 (.24mm). Is that correct? Is the entire thing actually 3.20mm in the Z axis?

I'm just curious as to why the layer heights don't match up with the instructions. What about layer #1? The slice shows that it's white. Is it actually 3.2mm thick?

them numbers are what the programme gives us, I've never understood them either I just go off the layer number and the colour. if your colour is showing white first then you right click on the slider and press the colour that's needed. which is black on this 1
