The Ideal
This model, using dovetail guides, adjust is length depending on the paper used. The model shown here, should be fixed to a support plane using self-tapping screws, but can be easily transformed to be used in other contexts, such as the HoneyComb storage wall.
If you want to apply a smaller roll, just bring the two supports closer together and adjust the length of the support bar (using the scale command in the longitudinal direction in the slicer program).
Removing the roll couldn't be simpler: move the bar slightly up and backwards, the inclination is 60º with the horizontal plane (see picture) this allows you to place a conventional diameter roller without any effort, but most importantly, without forcing the structure of the lateral arms
The technical specifications
When creating this model I always had 6 characteristics in mind: easy and fast to print, elegant, strong, durable and versatile.
This model has been crafted so that it fits on a printing table measuring around 250x250mm.
Variations - Top fixation
The Top fixation, was a request from someone in a forum, This variation, makes the print process less easy, since it will need a little of support material, at least on top edge where “male_top” part is inserte, there is no need to support the complete face due to its angle
