Description

Printed from PLA on a Bambulab X1C printer. I recommend printing 0.2 layer. All supports

EDIT: Based on your noticecorrection of the model geometry error at the beginning of the track, which caused the brittleness of the guide track. Added rounding of track ends.

Great work. Love it - and already printed the train cross. Unfortunately, the train cross already broke. Thereto, I did some inspection: I was able to spot a problem with the rail model. Please see screenshots attached. It looks like there is a negative part creating a hole in one end the track. This is the case for several train track models you created (this one, the cross, etc.). If you consider removing this issue, I might can provide an idea for further enhancement: The ends of the upper guide rails could be rounded off as with the original rails (see last picture for reference).

Hi Thank you for warning. I wouldn't have noticed it at all without you. I see this problem occurring wherever straight rail is used. The curved rail and switchrail do not suffer from this problem. I also see that I didn't notice the rounding either. I'll probably add a 2mm rounding at your suggestion. I think the original is like that too. Fixing all those parts even with rounding is easy, just uploading all the parts to the site will be tedious :(. Thanks again for the warning. Sincerely

If I can, I'll use your photos to illustrate the bug in the fix announcement.

All rails with this problem fixed and all except for the cross rounded. Thank you again :)

Hi! I appreciate your Duplo Train Stuff you provided. For the train station I build a two sided Station based on this model. (I copied the model in the slicer, turned 1 copy 180° and overlapped them.) It fits just perfect on the bed of the A1, but cant get a mm bigger :-). I wanted to align the Rails on both sides, and we tried to reassemble the station in our town :-) I post some pictures here. If you want, I can provide the 3rd. I am new to the licensing thing, Ainu don’t want to publish this myself. On the 2nd image: left is the original from Lego, right my station.
