Replacement steam knob for DeLonghi VVX1860G Iron with Steam Generator. Original one was too weak and broke.

I designed this to be sturdy. Thanks to the design that lets you to super glue a ~3 cm hexagonal rod that you can cut from a cheap 2mm hex key.

Shared print profile works flawlessly. You only need to remove 4 supports around the inner center.

ASSEMBLY and INSTALLATION
To install; you'll need to cut ~3 cm of a cheap 2 mm allen key and super glue it to the center slot.

Once glued, just snap the knob in its place.

* For the ones who wants to use the provided stl: Print it with the logo face facing down as seen in the pictures. Please make sure you block the supports for logo area and curvature at the bottom. Support is only needed for the snaps.
