📝 Description:

CamelBak-style water bottle dryer – A practical 3D Printed accessory for effectively drying the inside of hydration bladders and soft bottles 🚰
Compact and easy to use, it extends the lifespan of your outdoor gear and prevents bad odors ⛰️

⚠️ Personal use only – model not affiliated with CamelBak or any other brand

After testing several water bottle dryer models, none fully met my needs
So I drew inspiration from various existing designs to create my own model, designed to be practical, effective, and suitable for daily use 💧✨

Here are some instructions

The files are numerous but clearly identified as LARGE for the 4-part model and SMALL for the 2-part model

I created a short version, a model to hold two water bottles

and a large version with the possibility of holding 4 hydration bladders

for each size, I made lids with CamelBak, Salomon, or blank branding The rods of each dryer store inside, and the lid closes the whole unit for optimal storage and transport

I integrated silicone feet (from Aliexpress) to raise the unit and facilitate water drainage

The rod extensions can be mounted in both dryer models and allow the water bottles to be raised even higher

🛠️ Tips for perfect 3D printing adhesion:

Carefully clean your print bed before each print Grease residues, dust, or fingerprints can impair adhesion and cause detachment

Check bed calibration: a well-leveled bed ensures a uniform and well-adhered first layer

Use an appropriate adhesion surface: depending on your material, apply a thin layer of glue stick, adhesive spray, or specific tape (e.g., Kapton, BuildTak)

Set the print bed temperature correctly to promote adhesion according to the material used (PLA, ABS, PETG, etc.)

Reduce the first layer print speed: a slower speed allows for better filament adhesion to the print bed

Include a "skirt" or "brim" in your slicer to stabilize the first layer and limit warping
