Description

Check out the other two games in the series

Checkers

Chess

[Update] After getting some feedback, I adjusted the print profile, so the color change isn't discharged into the infill. I also increased the bottom shell layers. Since the main color scheme of this is white/black/green, it makes sense to reinforce those settings to avoid color bleed. Also added an A1 Mini plate for the Mini users!

[Update 2!] Shout out to Wcad00 for the added clip!

[Update 3!] Shout out to SoftWareCrash and Adminstrator for their contributions. The “Pocket” version, a 50% scaled version, and for a set of Xs and Os, with the Xs cut to fit inside the Os.

A Travel TicTacToe game, for those long spans stuck at sea, where you don't want to risk using a pencil on the side of your life raft! Or uh, you know, any other occasion too, like road trips down the coast with friends, or spending family time playing games!

Player piece quantity is setup so that X goes first!

The clearance is tight. The X and Os should fit fine, but if your printer is sloppy, it might be a tight fit.

Just printed this, love the look and design. Tolerances on the pieces, especially the Os is a little tight. A bit frustrating trying to get the pieces out. I ended up with some odd warping printing the lid, but that may just be the filament. It also seems like it could use a bit more room in the tolerances. (Looking closely at some of the other folks' print images, I see the same lid issue I had.)

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I had been thinking about tweaking the tolerances on the player pieces a little. You're feeling the lid might be a little tight too though?

adding a bit more tolerance to the pieces would be super helpful. as we’ve played it the pieces have loosened a bit but it still takes two hands to remove them. The lid is something else. I don’t know if it’s the infil pattern but I’m going to reprint it since it is the first part that ever “warped” on me from the included profile.

I have updated the print profiles since, and added a little more tolerance on the game pieces themselves! Which model of printer are you printing on? The warping of the lid concerns me. I haven't encountered that yet, but certainly interested if there's anything I can adjust to help as a preventive measure. I've been printing on a X1C.

Excellent design! Print profile is good but maybe you can reduce how many layers of color there is on the top plate. Since the colors only show on the top it doesn't need to go that deep. (this could greatly reduce filament waste). Otherwise flawless!

Good point! I need to experiment some with what's a good depth that wont bleed on even semi-transparent materials. Been trying to account for that. I think you're right though. Thanks for the feedback!

hope you don’t mind, I added a print profile for a locking bracket for the lid, it was just to loose for me and defeated the purpose of a lid, or carrying it anywhere
