Description

Congratulations on finally discovering FunOrNothing :)

 

I searched for what toys are popular these days to choose a gift for my elementary school nephew.

I found that fidget spinners like this are quite popular. 

I don't know why, but I think it's probably because they can transform that they excite kids.

 

So I decided to try making it myself with my own printer.

It would be more perfect to use ceramic bearings, but we even designed the bearings ourselves and included them in the model.

 

There are small projections inside the joint that allow it to be firmly fixed in the desired position.

 

The size of the hole at the end is 7mm, so if you put in a steel ball of that size, it will be almost the same as the product sold on the market. Or, if you put in a magnet, it could be an even more fun toy.

The advantage of making this toy with a 3D printer is that it can be scaled up to be as large as you want, and if anything breaks, parts can be easily replaced.

 

A bearing model is also included, but if you want more precise rotation, you can use 608 ceramic bearings.
