Enhance your gaming setup with this heavy-duty, 3D-printable Laptop Stand, specifically designed for larger and heavier gaming laptops like the Legion Pro series or any 16-inch models. This stand has been optimized for strength, heat resistance, and stability, ensuring your laptop is securely positioned during long gaming sessions or while working. It's also compatible with similarly sized devices, such as tablets, and can accommodate thin & light laptops as well. The stand is foldable and can be resized to fit various device sizes.

  • Versatile, Heat-Resistant Design: Built to handle the extra weight and heat generated by gaming laptops, this stand is engineered for stability and airflow. The base is designed to prevent scratches and features rounded edges for added safety.
  • Customizable Assembly: This stand allows for use of M5 screws or the 3d printed screws, adjusting the length to suit your needs. For even more strength, use wooden or 3D-printed dowels (2mm diameter and 27.5mm length) to reinforce the structure, which is especially useful for heavier laptops.
  • Material Recommendations: Given the heavy weight and high heat output of gaming laptops, it’s recommended to use durable, heat-resistant materials like PETG, ABS, or ASA. These filaments provide superior temperature resistance and structural strength, essential for prolonged gaming sessions. Use a strong infill pattern, such as Gyroid, Cubic, or Triangle, which will provide better weight distribution and rigidity. For optimal strength, ensure the model is printed with 5 top layers, 5 bottom layers, and 5 wall layers to enhance durability.
  • Improved Grip and Flexibility: For added grip and flexibility, the first layer of the base can be printed in TPU, providing extra traction and vibration absorption. If your printer supports multi-material printing (AMS/MMU), this feature is highly recommended.
  • Practical and Aesthetic: While engineered for function, this stand also enhances your gaming setup visually. It’s easy to assemble, and you can personalize it with paint or other modifications to match your gaming aesthetic (Note: Its got 2 different bases,Normal & Thicker, One for normal thin and light, other for a bigger gaming laptop).

Printing and Assembly Instructions:

  • Print Settings: To ensure maximum durability and heat resistance, use high-temp filaments such as PETG, ABS, or ASA. Employ a strong infill pattern like Gyroid or Cubic to distribute weight effectively. It’s also recommended to use 5 top, 5 bottom layers, and 5 wall layers to add extra strength to the structure. Adjust tolerances for a perfect fit, especially when using custom screws or dowels.
  • Assembly Tips: Simply use M2 screws that's long enough (30 mm for base and 20 mm for the stands) and screw them in place, if not you can just use some piece of metal wires too.
