Materials

  • LED lights
  • Adhesive

    Steps:

  • Assemble the cubes:
    • Securely join the two cube halves using adhesive and bolts. Ensure proper alignment and firm adhesion.
  • Thread the LEDs:
    • Thread the LEDs through the base and the designated holes in the cubes.
    • Begin from the bottom, carefully guiding the LEDs through the cubes.
  • Complete the bottom:
    • Work from the underside of the cube. Once the area is fully LED-equipped, proceed to the top.
  • Top sides:
    • Attach the LEDs to each side of the top cube. Ensure even distribution and secure placement.
  • Trim the LEDs:
    • Once the LEDs are fully installed, trim any excess LED material. This creates a clean finish.

The LED groove width is 12mm, so I recommend an 8-10mm wide LED.

I used a 2-meter COB USB LED strip from Amazon, but any 2-meter LED strip will work.

A slightly more flexible LED is preferable, as it gets tight in the corners.

There are 8 white diffusers and 4 black ones, 4 white ones at the top and bottom.

Use the 4 black ones on the middle sides where light shouldn't show.

However, feel free to arrange the LEDs as desired.

Have fun printing. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment :)

I would be grateful for any kind comments, pictures, or a boost :)
