Description

I designed and 3D printed a compact square storage box featuring four equal compartments, perfect for organizing small items like screws, beads, or electronic components. The box measures 80mm in width, 80mm in length, and 30mm in height, making it ideal for desktop use without taking up much space. Each compartment is evenly divided, providing a clean and efficient way to sort items.

The model was printed using PLA filament, known for its durability and ease of printing, especially for functional prototypes and everyday use. A 0.2mm layer height was used to ensure a good balance between print quality and time efficiency, resulting in smooth walls and a professional finish. The infill was set at 15%, which provides adequate strength for lightweight storage while minimizing material usage and print time.

The clean, minimalistic design of the box makes it visually appealing and practical, whether for personal use or as a gift. The four-compartment layout is versatile, allowing for flexible usage in workshops, craft rooms, or offices. This project showcases the practicality and convenience of 3D printing for creating custom storage solutions tailored to specific needs.
