This Infinite Slinky Animated Fidget Spinner is designed to be printed as a multicolor print using the AMS. It can also be printed as one piece.

This fidget spinner is unlike a standard spinner. The shapes on the spinners are frames of animation. When you spin the spinner and view the spinner through a smartphone camera, the animations come to life. There are also two other ways to view the spinners. The instructions are below for the 3 different viewing methods.

Smartphone Camera Instructions: Click HERE

Strobe Light App Instructions: Click HERE

Handheld viewer: Click HERE

You will need an r188 bearing for the spinner.

Recommended bearings from Amazon: Click HERE

Files included:

3MF file that is ready for AMS printing.

Top and Bottom Cap files.

Bearing Top Cap. This part is to lock in the bearing.

Bearing top tool. This will make it easier to lock on the bearing top cap.

Solid file for single extruders.

Hi, I'm a big fan of the design! I have loads of skateboard bearings, is there any possibility that you could add a design for 608zz bearings?

I have made these spinners in past with some skateboard bearings. The problem is that the bearings need to have a long smooth spin time or the animation won't work correctly. Usually about a 1 to 2 min spin time.

@aPyroDesign Okay I understand, any chance you still have the file? I'd like to test it too :)

Saw this on Youtube and would love to print it. Amazing model. I have about 200 608 bearings left over from the fidget spinner craze and bet a lot of other makers do too. Don't know if there's any chance of editing to fit those instead of the other type of bearing it needs.

I've definitely wanted to do that and I know there are lot of people that would love to use 608 bearings. I actually used to use 608s in all of my spinners. I just need to find the time to edit my files.
