Description

1920's-style Bugatti Royale Dancing Elephant Car Mascot

Another one of my re-creations of vintage car mascots.
This “Dancing Elephant” was originally created by Rembrandt Bugatti, who often visited the Antwerp Zoo to find inspiration for his sculptures.
Rembrandt had a brother Ettore, who founded the car brand Bugatti.
The Dancing Elephant was the radiator ornament one of the most prestigious models, the “Royale” .

There was a famous limited series casts by French Glass artisan Lalique, that slightly differ from the original car mascot. (and nowadays sell for + $5000 !)
My re-creation is inspired by both, with an added touch by myself, as I did not want to simply make a “copy”.

Printed in Polymaker Gold PLA, then spray painted “chrome”.
