Description

A model for a 3 part mold for making a rupee. I used this to make rupee stress balls and props.

what materials would you be able to melt into these molds? if I print this in a high temp material could I melt pla trash pieces into these molds?

I cant imagine that working but I don't melt PLA scraps personally. I think the design would need to be altered for material as dense as that. I used a foam epoxy to create stress ball material when I used it. The heat of that material is minimal and it only required a mold release spray. I also use clear acrylic epoxy with dyes to create the colors and polished for the shine.
