Description

I use the Skadis wall at my desk with the original Skadis desk mounts. Unfortunately, the wall tends to wobble, which means that the transparent Skadis containers sometimes slip out. To prevent this, I have constructed small sockets for 8x2mm magnets, which are stuck to the Skadis container with Nano Tape. PROBLEM SOLVED!

Now the containers no longer slip out, no matter how full they are.

What do you need? (per Skadis container)

  • 1x magnet holder
  • 1x 8x2mm magnet
  • 2 pieces of Nano-Tape (min. 1.2mm thick) or similar

Great work, thanks for sharing. Printed in PLA-white on X1C, everything went fine. I used BAURIX Nano-Tape (thickness: 2mm, width: 30mm) and cut into squares 10x10mm. Notice: to fix the top part of the container on to the peg board, I used the "Skadis Container Lid Securing Clip".

Works great, thank you. I'm not sure why IKEA doesn't design these better.
