XBOX Controller Wall Mount

Based on the excellent model by La Guía del Mando, this is a wall mount version of the same model.

Recommended print settings:

• Infill: 10 or 15%
• Layer Height: 0.2mm
• Supports required, but the model is oriented and ready to print, if you print as-is you can snap the supports off and they only affect the part that is not visible and the back.

Fixings:

• There are 3 mount points, you may not need all 3, but I advise you at least use the center one. 
• Pick goldscrew/wall screws as applicable, the model is capable of taking up to 10mm screw-headed screws, but pick a screw that once inserted will bury into your dry-wall by about 15mm min.
• Affix the center screw first as it's the easiest, apply pressure and screw slightly into drywall, remove and drill out in the direction of the screw hold, apply rawl-plug and then mount.
• To fit the side screws, apply pressure towards the wall and drill in the direction of the hole. Maintain pressure as drilling at such an acute angle is tricky. Remove, apply rawl-plugs and re-attach. You may not need both sides, up to you - mine was fine with one reasonably long side screw.
• Print the plugs and slot them into the holes to neatly hide the screws.

When fitted properly, the mount is surprisingly strong and the controller grips well. Not knocked it out yet, but obviously be careful of that with any wall mount, keep it out of high foot-fall areas to avoid knocking.
