Description
Backpack camera mount
Much more convenient and comfortable than wearing a camera around your neck
Printing directions and safety
This print is designed for PETG, DO NOT USE PLA, IT MAY WEAKEN AND BREAK WHEN EXPOSED TO SUN
Use the strength print profile or manually set the wall count to at least four, flip the models across X (make sure the text is correct) if you aren't using my pre-made print profile
Use blue threadlocker on the backpack clamp screws to make sure they don't work themselves loose
For safety I recommend wearing your neck strap when using the backpack mount, I don't take any responsibility if the camera drops
Mounting the camera
Camera is mounted using a tripod shoe. I use a K&F concept K234A0+BH-28L included shoe but some other 60-65mm arcaswiss shoes should work (verify if the shape matches before printing!)
Required hardware
- 1x 6mm x 18-20mm compression spring
- 2x M5x12mm screw (may need to be longer depending on your backpack)
- 2x M5 nut
- 1x M4x16mm or M4x20mm screw
- 1x M4 washer
- 1x M4 nut
