This 3D-printable cable gland is your ally for securing and insulating your cables like a pro, while maintaining a cool DIY vibe! Designed for cables from 3.5 mm to 5.5 mm, it adapts to your projects with style and simplicity. From 5 mm, a little grease or lubricant, and voilà, the cable slides like on rails!

COMPOSITION:
✅Compression nut: Tightens the seal for a top-notch seal.

✅Main body: The heart of the system, robust and reliable.
✅TPU gasket (second print profile): Flexible, effective, and printed separately for nickel insulation.

SPECIFICATIONS:
🔧Passes through a 14 to 16 mm hole in a wall – measure carefully, and you're ready to go!
⚡Perfect for electrical cables or others, with guaranteed insulation for small diameters.
💡Tip: For cables of 5 mm and more, a little lubricant facilitates passage!

I needed a big cable strain relief, so I scaled it up and it printed perfectly. The only issue was, that the thread was too tight. I have scaled it down with 1% and it worked like a charm! Thank you!

Printed perfectly in PETG on the first try. I have one suggestion: permanently attach one of the wall mounting nuts to the end of the screw. It will print just fine, the assembly will be from inside out, but tightening will be much easier.

Thank you for your comment, I had imagined this configuration to allow more freedom in installation but I could offer another print profile with your suggestion. 👍

The print is satisfactory, but where can I obtain the screws? They should have been included in the file

I found this extremely useful for securing 6mm PT 1000 thermal sensors in a PVC pipe. Unfortunately, the PETG adhesion was so strong that I broke a few of the movable clamps during removal. I think 9 pieces are unnecessary; 5 or 6 would likely suffice. They would be wider and less prone to breakage! Consider tapering the clamps upwards to increase the spacing at the top. Alternatively, it would be interesting if the lower nut and the thread were a single piece. Thank you for sharing the model!
