DDR Pad Bracketless Base

Dance Dance Revolution Bracketless Arrow Base. Skinny Version.

Dovetail joining, counter sunk screw hole for connecting to raised wooden base 2x4. Heated insert required for connecting m4x20 flat headed machine screws with the acrylic panels I purchased. Non-counter sunk hole is where the insert is placed.

I pretty much marked the acrylic panels by laying it on the completed panel for where I needed to drill holes in it.  I have a drill press which made this easy. countersunk bit to have the screw be flushwith the top of the panel.

2mm x 2mm o-rings suggested.

This is the skinnier version I used for my second pad, as the first one was thicker, it wasn't needed with a good base to screw onto/glue on.

EVA foam cutter for marking the foam is on the second plate for easy outline for corner padding. I used used electrical tape for attaching eva foam.

Used the cheap aliexpress foot sensor switches. used the basic/cheap zero-delay USB encoders also found on aliexpress.  LEDs optional, 5v cob LEDs as the USB encoder only supplies 5v.
