Description

Have you ever wanted to play the ukulele at night but you only have acoustic ukuleles?

So have I, that's why I made this silent practice uke, it uses no electronics and a little bit of hardware.

Non 3d printed parts needed.

1 pack of Soprano ukulele strings

1x: 13x283mm rod (metal or wood)

1x: m3x14mm screw.

4x: 20x4.7mm counter sunk wood screws.

4x: squier stratocaster style tuners and all parts included with them. (all the tuners haver to be the same none can be mirrored!)

Tools needed.

drill with bits for the wood screws.

mallet

Assembly.

take the lower and upper neck pieces and slide the dove tail joints together and insert the 13mm rod.

slide the assembly from the previous step into the uke body (use mallet if necessary) , use the wood screws to secure the neck to the body.

place the headboard cover on the headboard and use the tuning peg covers to secure it down, then screw in the tuning pegs.

(optional) use the m3x14 screw to attach the strap button you may need to drill out the hole in the strap button with a 3.27mm drill bit to get the screw through.

tie a knot on the end of each of the strings and string the uke as normal.

Congratulations! you've just 3d printed yourself a silent ukulele.

Enjoy :)
