Description

This new model, just as the previous one, requires absolutely no supports (just a good filament and nice cooling)!

After my original raven model was so well received i decided to perfect it a little. I didn't like how the feathers on the top of the wings appeared flat, so I took my time to make them look more 3D, like they do in real life. Another thing was its symmetry - in real life animals rarely maintain perfect symmetry in their movements - so now it's also availiable in a less symmetrical version, with its entire body tilted a little to either right or left - depending on that you want :)

Very nice and well designed model. As I want it to use in my garden to keep the birds from destroying my flower beds, I maxed the size to a height of 250mm, added a 30° tilted hole in the chest and printed in black ASA. So it can be mounted on a stick in flying position. Printed very good without any supports. There is a small spot under the tail which is a bit unclean but this could be due to the upscaling.

Great model. The geometry of this model is so unique with the fact that it is completely supportless. I like to use a raft to ensure bed adhesion for the feet. Came out great in Overture Transparent PLA.
