Description

This new model, just as the previous one, requires absolutely no supports (just a good filament and nice cooling)!

After my original raven model was so well received i decided to perfect it a little. I didn't like how the feathers on the top of the wings appeared flat, so I took my time to make them look more 3D, like they do in real life. Another thing was its symmetry - in real life animals rarely maintain perfect symmetry in their movements - so now it's also availiable in a less symmetrical version, with its entire body tilted a little to either right or left - depending on that you want :)

great print had a failure near the end but am laming my printer

Very nice and well designed model. As I want it to use in my garden to keep the birds from destroying my flower beds, I maxed the size to a height of 250mm, added a 30° tilted hole in the chest and printed in black ASA. So it can be mounted on a stick in flying position. Printed very good without any supports. There is a small spot under the tail which is a bit unclean but this could be due to the upscaling.

Great model. The geometry of this model is so unique with the fact that it is completely supportless. I like to use a raft to ensure bed adhesion for the feet. Came out great in Overture Transparent PLA.

this was printing beautifully, Until the last 1/4 of the top part of the wings. have no idea what happened. but the print was looking great

was great until last bit then the bird flew off the mat so to speak,lovely detail,thinking I might add asomething onto the top for decoration saves throwing it..
