Description

Description:  Tie Fighter

Fun little print.  Print fast in 1 or 4 colors.   Fits together nice and snug.

  • Filament:
    • ABS or ASA works the best.  Legos are made out of ABS.
    • PLA works for a short period, but the part's fit will loosen over time due to PLA's high creep at low temperatures.  To solve this, Pla can be glued easily with superglue.
    • Don't print with PETg.  It doesn't have the elasticity to fit together tightly, and it is difficult to glue together.

The “4 color on a single plate” prints in 1hour 8 minutes.  The parts are small enough to change the print sequence to “By object,” so there is only 3 material changes for the entire plate.
