Description

This is a 3d printable version of the Microjig Grid Guide. This version however accommodates for either 4 inch, 100mm or 96mm spacing between grid lines. Simply print which sub base you'd prefer as the sub base dictates the spacing.

There are multiple main bases, each with different clearance options to accomodate different printers. I suggest you first print one of the tolerance test pieces and see how they fit before committing to a large print. Start with the 0.10mm tolerance test and go up or down from there depending on how they fit and your preference. I'd still suggesting gluing the main and sub bases together regardless.

Other features include holes for a handle which fit standard cabinet handles (either 96mm or 128mm center to center hole spacing. Or print the handle included and use standard wood screws to attach it.

Currently it's designed to work with a 6.35mm relief bit, but please let me know what sized relief bit you'd like to use and I'll modify the model and upload these parts.

The threaded 30mm guide bushing is a very tight fit, so I'd suggest using pliers or a clamp to tighten it (carefully). If you let me know the center hole for your router, I'll model up a bushing to suit and upload it. Thread is M30x2.5 if you'd like to make your own.

Also, print which clamps suit the height of your router base. Eg the 10mm for the Ryobi trim router, or the 25mm for the big Makita routers.

Lastly, you'll need 2x M6 or ¼" bolts, nuts and washers to secure the clamps in place,  either will work.

Designed to fit onto the A1 Mini, printed in the default 20% infill strength profile, works well.
