Description
Working on movements on my desk with magnification caused strain as I tried to get eye level. I designed this 225mm riser that has a 80mm holder for a silicone movement pad and a 36mm holder for a movement holder. It has a surrounding gutter for dropped items and an upper and lower tray.
I had some adhesive neoprene that I adhered to these trays with.
This gets the movement closer to eye level and allows me to rest my elbows on the table while working and that increases stability/accuracy.
The holders were just based on my tools, yours may vary. I could make other versions if needed. Just drop a comment.
UPDATE: I have added 2 version to the 3mF file. Plate 1 contains the fitted top with the the 80mm and 36mm holes. Plate 2 is now a flat top that anything can be placed on.
