Description

I needed a hook to support my plants in the bathroom. I tried printing something similar to my needs, but each one had critical issues for my situation, so I created my own version.

The base size is 18x18mm (it fits perfectly inside a 20x20mm mosaic-style tile), while the height (protrusion from the wall) is 16mm.

The hook in question is sufficiently tight to prevent the plant from falling out.

I added an internal recess to comfortably insert strong double-sided tape.

I recommend acrylic double-sided tape 15x15mm with a thickness of 0,8-1mm.

I made several print tests to check quality, resistance, and optimize filament waste from supports.

In my opinion, the best compromise is present in plate 1 of the model, which is printed on its side but oblique, to avoid unsightly marks from surfaces printed over supports, but at the same time, to avoid having too many layers in the hook arch and therefore significantly increase its resistance.

The hook weighs 0.8 grams, and with supports, in my recommended version, it reaches 1.20 grams. However, I've left 3 plates with different orientations to achieve the best result for you (compromise, aesthetics, strength).

This is one of my first experiences creating something entirely from scratch with Fusion 360, so I gladly accept constructive criticism or suggestions for its improvement.

Thank you
