Description
I here present a very functional Bird Feeder.
I printed a Bird feeder but was not completely happy with it and decided to make my own. This feeder is relatively small, and has a high edge minimizing spill. The roof can be unscrewed for adding more seeds. Overall very functional. In addition, there are threads in the bottom of the feeder allowing for attachments. This includes a screw with a hole in it, allowing to hang a second feeder under the first, or just an attachment to secure the feeder from below. A wall mount is also included which together with a printed ring gives you all parts you need to hang it from a wall close to your window. The Feeder can obviously also be hung from a tree using a string (like Bambu labs Nylon string. (see pictures for all options).
ASA is probably preferred filament for this build, but I have printed one in ASA and one in PLA to compare.
I hope you will enjoy watching the birds from your window just as much as we are. The one uploading the nicest picture with a bird wins!
