This ornament consists of a front frame and a backer that slides into slots on the back of the frame to hold the photo in place. To assemble, do the following:
The uploaded .stl files are sized for a standard wallet-sized (2"x3") photo, but the included OpenSCAD file is fully parametric and can be resized to your desired dimensions.
Frames in the .stl files are provided in both vertical and horizontal orientations, with or without the year debossed on the front of the frame; this text is also customizable in the OpenSCAD file if you want. If you feel creative and want to play around in OpenSCAD, it should be possible to add fancier designs to the front of the frame, but I'll leave that to you :-)
The backer is provided with two different clearances. The “tight” clearance version prints and fits well at standard quality on my Bambu P1S, but a looser clearance version is also provided. Both work with the same front frame, so if you print the tight version and find it doesn't work, you need only re-print the backer rather than the entire frame. You can also just scale down the backer piece, but this will change the fit/alignment of the hanging hole so I recommend trying the two different clearance versions first.
Enjoy!
