I love the cupholder 3 design by glai2.

I've made some modifications to make it fit my desk setup. This new design is less versatile, but ideal if you are using the IKEA Linnmon tabletop with IKEA Alex drawer unit(s) like I am.

I changed the clamp size to be just a tad bigger than the default size, as the linnmon tabletop is just a tad bigger than the 30mm max. In addition, I cut off some length from the lower part of the clamp to accomodate the small overhang my desk makes. I also changed the bolt threads to be shorter and for the grip of the bolt to be shorter as well. All of this allows for the clamp to clear my top Alex drawer when the clamp is aligned with the drawer handle cutout.

The cup itself is unchanged, and just so happens to fit the silicone drink coaster that I already had almost perfectly. Below is a link to the coasters if you are interested. The plate that attaches to the bolt is also unchanged. Both of these parts can be found on the original design post. Please give that one some love too if you like my remix!
