Description

I saw many people used my other creation, the standard desk cable holder, as a way to tidy up passing cables. Since I believe that model is not optimal for that use, I created this version which fits various sizes of cables and in bigger quantities.
It is also thinner which makes it ideal behind desks.
The size is universal and is compatible with desks up to 40 mm in thickness
(though if you have a thicker desk, nothing stops you from scaling Z a little bit).

Screw is now optimized and scaled 97.5% from the original model. Should fit nicely with a slight effort on first assembly.

Print is quick, about 40 mins, and only uses 18 g of plastic for both clamp and screw.
PLA resists fine for me, but you're free to try stronger materials.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. As I mentioned in the description, I modified the tolerances and tested, the part works now. Please try the new print profile and if it works let me know and change the rating! Thank you

Nice concept and model. However, like other commenters, the screw did not go into the hole (and confirmed it was scaled to 97.5%). Will be a nice model when it has a revision with a reliable mounting system.

hey thanks for the feedback! I’m working on this. So is it hard to insert or does it not even fit? did you print in regular pla? I will release an updated version in these days and get back to you

Yep, printed in generic PLA. In my case the screw doesn't even fit: it just starts to thread in but seizes after about 10degrees of rotation, about 1-2mm into its thread. Reducing the diameter further might help?

This is a great model, thanks for the upload! I tweaked profile a little to print cleaner on the A1 Mini. I've also uploaded the profile if it can help anyone else out. 1.2 hours but the final result is well worth the wait!

Turned out perfect using built in settings for slicing! We printed in Bambu PLA Matte Latte.

both parts are surprisingly solid without any issues, using basic Bambu green pla that came with the machine.
