Description

This is a remix of a few different designs that I put together to give you a complete package.

 

The main item is a rugged box with inserts from PjotrStrog, you can find the original here

 

The Hot Iron Stand is from Termiman, you can find it here. This will need a single 608 bearing, this is an affiliate link to the ones I use on Amazon, but any 608 bearing should work. This is a 20-pack and was less than $9 when I bought them. https://amzn.to/41FukEs. It also has a spot for an M3 screw and nut, but mine works fine without it. If you want to put a screw in it, this is the M3 screw set I use https://amzn.to/3RLf6Js

 

To save screws on the case, and because it is just more fun I used a file from xander to print pins, making the case itself fully 3d printable.

 

I printed the entire setup in PETG on 2 plates. Separated by color to save on color changes. There is an optional 3rd plate with a gasket printed in TPU, I used Overture High-Speed

 

This also includes the solder spool (2 piece) but I am not super thrilled with it so I am going to look for or model an alternative.

 

The box and accessories was done on a textured plate, and the TPU gasket on the engineering plate

could not have come out cleaner, absolute 10/10 model and credit to all creators involved. if you’re looking for a pinecil case this is absolutely the one.

Awesome model :) I printed in PLA and managed to snap one of the hinges while putting in the pins but definitely more on the side of operator error. Take your time while putting them in!

Printed in PLA and turned out fantastic! This case has already seen a good amount of use.

I am using the 1.5m red silicone cable from pinecil and it fits well but I don't think anything much longer will fit easily
