Garden Hose Strainer Filter Basket Female FGH

This model is a compact strainer to install at the end of a garden hose to prevent large debits from entering or exiting the hose. The filter/strainer features a female 3/4in garden hose thread (Hose end must be male). 

At the bottom of the threads in the strainer, a flat surface is included in the design to add your rubber hasher or a secondary mesh washer. The center hole inside the strainer is 15.5mm (about 5/8in).

[ Slots size / debirs ] The strainer slots are 1mm wide x 9mm tall to stop large particles, while keeping a good flow.

[ Pumping area ] The strainer includes a total of 150 slots, each slot has an open area of 8.785 mm². 

The total allowable suction area for all the 150 slots is 1317mm² (2in²), so for a typical 5/8in garden hose (area of 0.3in²), even the strainer is partially clogged, it shall still provide a large flow capacity.

[ Printing ]  No supports required.

[ Assembly  ]  Insert your hose rubber washer inside the female end of the strainer and its ready for use. 

You may use a metal mesh hose washer for a second protection against smaller debris.
